Service Center

Our Service Center Team is a dedicated group of students committed to serving you around the clock, 360 days a year. They are the heartbeat of our department, offering top-notch peer-to-peer customer service to fellow students. In our dynamic university community, we ensure that students feel heard and understood by providing a familiar face to address facilities issues. Our students receive guidance and training from our professional staff, ensuring a seamless residence hall experience for you.

What We Do

  • 24/7 Support: Staffed by students, an Assistant Manager, a Manager, and several student supervisors, our Service Center responds to calls from students, summer guests, staff, parents, and others. 
  • Service Requests: We handle approximately 50,000 service requests annually for routine and emergency maintenance, housekeeping services, routine inspections, and projects.
  • Key Management: We issue keys to staff and contractors and process lock core requests due to lost keys. 
  • Emergency Response: For after-hours facility emergencies, we contact the Residential Facilities reflex staff to address building issues and maintain a list of on-call DRF supervisors/managers for assistance. 
  • Collaboration with FM CRC: We work closely with Facilities Management Customer Response Center (CRC) during campus-wide issues or if a student is trapped in a residence hall elevator.

Our goal is to make your residence hall experience smooth and worry-free. We're here to help with any facilities-related concerns.
