Our Units

The Department of Residential Facilities consists of four major units: Planning, Design, and Construction (PDC); Facilities Maintenance (FM); Building Services (BS); Administrative Functions; and Service Center.

Each unit plays a vital role in our daily operations, employing over 300 exempt and non-exempt staff members. Together, we provide exceptional service to over 70 residence halls, Greek chapter houses, and recreational facilities on the College Park campus, covering more than 2.7 million square feet. We operate 24/7, 360 days a year. Learn more about our units below.
