Facilities Housing Plan

In January 2022, under the direction of Division of Student Affairs (DSA), the Department of Residential Facilities partnered with Sasaki to develop a housing facilities plan aimed at enhancing the student housing experience. 

This initiative expanded to encompass all 16 departments within the Division making the Housing Plan part of the larger DSA Facilities Strategic Plan.

The two-year process resulted in a comprehensive document outlining the needs and future directions of DSA departments, integrating housing with essential student services such as recreation, wellness, dining, and counseling.

The plan proposes ambitious improvements to housing facilities, including:

• Modernizing facilities & enhancing housing neighborhoods
• Advancing ADA improvements
• Improving circulation and enhancing outdoor space
