Meet our Marketing and Communication Manager. They provide essential support for both internal and external communications. Services include strategic communication, writing, editing, proofreading, designing, creating branded marketing materials, and photography and videography with a storytelling approach.

Offering expertise in three key areas—Employee Relations, Staffing, and Training and Development—our dedicated team ensures that our staff members receive the guidance and resources they need to thrive.
Employee Relations
Meet our Employee Relations team, your go-to resource for personnel matters and campus policies. They coordinate leave requests, manage performance and attendance issues, and foster a positive workplace culture. From handling grievances to conducting workplace investigations, they're here to support our staff every step of the way.
Staffing
Meet our Staffing Manager, dedicated to recruiting and selecting the best talent for Residential Facilities. She oversees the hiring process, from onboarding to exit interviews, ensuring a smooth transition for all staff members. Whether it's coordinating seasonal hires or facilitating professional development, our manager is here to support our team every step of the way.
Training and Development
Meet our Training and Development team, committed to nurturing the skills and growth of our Residential Facilities staff. They coordinate a range of training sessions, from workplace skills to compliance and leadership development. Additionally, they spearhead initiatives promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion, ensuring a supportive and enriching work environment for all.
Information Technology (IT)
Meet our Information Technology (IT) Services unit, dedicated to providing IT equipment and support for our staff. They maintain the infrastructure (servers, access rights, software) and hardware (workstations, tablets, phones, printers, and copiers) essential for our operations. The IT unit also supports key systems like FMS work orders, Lenel card access, AutoDesk CAD, TRAKA key boxes, phones, and HOBOware. Additionally, they collaborate with other campus offices to integrate our technology with financial, payroll, time and attendance, internet/WiFi/cable TV streaming, and other administrative systems.
Safety & Health
Meet our Safety and Health manager, a dedicated leader, coach, and trainer committed to ensuring the well-being of our Residential Facilities team. Collaborating closely with the university's central safety and health organization, the "Environment, Safety, Sustainability, and Risk (ESSR)" unit, she oversees safety initiatives tailored to our department's unique needs, with a primary focus on preventing injuries and illnesses.
Work Management
Our Work Management team connects department operations and stakeholders in our residence halls, chapter houses, and recreation facilities. They are responsible for:
- 24-hour Service Center: Initiating and tracking service requests.
- Key Shop: Handling lock core changes and issuing keys.
- Outage Communication and Coordination: Managing planned and unplanned outages and work in our facilities.
- Summer Schedule Planning: Organizing and coordinating the department's summer schedule.
- Emergency Response: Assisting in coordination during and after facility emergencies, such as floods.
- After-Hours Schedules: Maintaining on-call schedules for housekeeping, facilities maintenance, and work management.
The Work Management team also oversees transition activities at the start and end of each semester and trains our staff on work management procedures, key policies, and customer service.

Fiscal Services
Meet our dedicated Manager of Fiscal Services, responsible for preparing financial analyses, projections and reports, reconciling accounts, managing the reimbursable charges process for Fraternity and Sorority Life, RecWell and Golf, and assisting with the department's budget.
