The best way to report a facility concern is by calling the 24-hour Service Center at 301-314-9675. Save this number in your mobile device for future reference.

- Building name
- Room number
- Telephone number
- UID (University ID)
This ensures that your concern is documented promptly and receives the attention it needs from our staff.
Provide a description of the problem to our service center staff. Keep a pen and paper handy to note the service request number.
Note: Do not email service requests to resfacilities@umd.edu for timely assistance. This email account is not monitored 24/7.

Types of Requests
For active emergencies, call UMPD directly at 301-405-3333. Contact our Service Center at 301-314-9675 for immediate assistance with urgent repair work needed to ensure the safety of students or the facility.
Non-emergency requests should also be reported through the Service Center. Please note that these issues will typically be addressed on the next business day.
Our Service Center operates 24/7, with a dedicated Reflex Team available for after-hours emergencies.
Submit project requests by contacting our Service Center or emailing inquiries to resfacilities@umd.edu. Our team will ensure you are connected with our Planning, Design & Construction unit for assistance.
