Lisa Amick

Meet Lisa Amick, Associate Director of Financial Services.
Lisa has over 39 years of experience in accounting, with 34 of those years spent at the University of Maryland. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and passed the CPA exam in 1990.

In her role, Lisa oversees payroll, procurement, budgeting, and accounting for Residential Facilities. She manages an annual operating budget of over $70 million and a capital budget of $10 million, ensuring compliance and efficiency in financial processes.

Lisa is a thoughtful and empathetic leader who encourages her team to pursue growth opportunities while maintaining integrity and kindness. She values each team member's contributions and fosters a work environment of respect and professionalism. Outside of work, Lisa enjoys connecting with her team and contributing to the department.
